What Zepto pays per task
What you earn per task at Zepto is a service fee. The rider agreement says it depends on the distance, the time the task takes, demand, traffic, the weather and your customer rating. Tips from customers are passed on to you. Payment is weekly or for another set period, after taxes, and a delivery service provider (vendor) may pay you instead if you join through one.
Costs the agreement allows: onboarding and training fees plus taxes, and a refundable security deposit. Both are deducted from your payouts, in one instalment or more, and the amounts are told at onboarding. A damaged Zepto t-shirt or bag can also cost a fee to replace. Bike, cycle or EV?
Zepto lists all of them. A smartphone and a two-wheeler are yours to bring, with running costs on you, unless Zepto provides a cycle or e-cycle. Vehicle insurance has to be as the law requires. Ask on the call which vehicle the Saket openings use.
