How Zepto's service fee works

Zepto's rider agreement says you are paid a service fee for each task, worked out from:

  • distance and the time taken
  • demand and traffic
  • weather
  • your customer rating

Payment comes weekly (or another set period), after taxes. Customer tips are passed on to you. If you join through a delivery service provider, that vendor may pay you instead.

Check the costs too: the agreement allows onboarding and training fees (plus taxes) and a refundable security deposit, cut from your payouts in one or more instalments. The amounts are told at onboarding.
